6 Week Movement Flow #3: Continuum Movement (7-9pm)

This here is a 6 week exploration of movement. Each session we will be diving deeper into different limbs all pointing the profound correlation between movement, music, and embodied freedom of expression. Every session aims to provide a framework in which the method being studied can be examined, practiced, and used as a launch pad for personal expression and self discovery. Continuum Movement is a “dynamic inquiry into what it is to be a human being.” Founded by Emilie Conrad, Continuum provides a method to consciously explore ourselves as an unfolding biological and planetary process. Water, and the fact that the body is mostly composed of it, is considered of great importance. Central goals of Continuum are health and wellness, as well as how to free oneself from cultural and mechanistic constraints of modern society. Movement is something we are, not something we do … All fluid activities are in resonance. They mutualize and inform each other.
