The Yogic Journey: Moving Towards Stillness Retreat with Kellie Dearman

Yoga and meditation teacher Kellie Dearman invites you to join her on her 15th retreat to Shanti. Join Kellie on a voyage of discovery as we explore the yogic journey of moving inwards towards spirit. This retreat is for anyone interested in refining the skills of listening to the voice of our bodies, of paying attention to the entirety of our selves, of finding the stillness we all embody and share, and of settling into a deep knowing of our place and connection to all that is. We’ll explore practices that include hatha yoga, yin yoga, yoga nidra and a variety of breathing and meditation techniques, with the intention of developing a better understanding of the yogic concept of the KOSHA’s, the five metaphorical layers of our human form. This retreat is appropriate for all level yogi’s just curious to learn more, and for those needing time to delve deeper into their practice. Physical practices will be appropriate for yogis of all abilities as we will be more concerned with delving into connection than with exacting form.

Flow, Yin and Chant Retreat with Lana

Join Lana for a long weekend of movement, music, and meditation on Wolfe Island, Ontario. Explore a variety of yoga styles- Jivamukti-inspired vinyasa flow, yin, and restorative. On Saturday night, Lana and her partner Narada Wise, will lead a kirtan (call and response chanting), and there will be mantra woven throughout the retreat. Kundalini Yoga & Mala Making Retreat with Lynn Clyde

Join Lynn Clyde (Manmeet Kaur) for a 3-day kundalini yoga and mala making retreat. This all-levels retreat includes 3 yoga classes, morning sadhana (yoga/meditation/mantra), gong or crystal bowl baths, a mala meditation, nutritious vegetarian meals and an infrared sauna session. Kundalini yoga incorporates asana (postures), pranayama (breath work), mudra (hand gestures) and mantra. Rest & Reconnect: A weekend of Restorative Yoga with Joshua Lewis

We welcome back Joshua Lewis for his 5th annual fall retreat – the ideal antidote for the busy and often stressful lives we lead. The greatest gift you can give yourself is the opportunity to switch from a state of “doing” to a state of simply “being.” Through the therapeutic practices of Yin, Gentle Hatha, and Restorative Yoga, our overall intention this weekend is to support the entire organism through rest. We will yield the body with the assistance of multiple props and the luxury of time. This practice of global release is passive and nourishing, calming the nervous system and promoting deep healing.
