Yoga & Inner Practices Retreat with Debra Black

Join Debra on a weekend designed to bring a sense of equanimity or balance to your life — exploring yin yoga, yang yoga, restorative yoga and walking and seated meditation. Participants will work with – loving kindness and compassion practices, breath work and visualizations during asana practice and meditation. In each class students will be able to rest, restore and find their ground – physically, mentally and spiritually. The yin/yang yoga classes will be designed to balance the Qi, or life force, in students that according to Traditional Chinese Medicine and Daoism flows within all of our bodies in a series of meridians. Both the asana practices and the meditation practices will give students an opportunity to work with their feelings and thoughts and cultivate moment-to-moment awareness as well as hone their ability to be mindful and balance their Qi. Flow, Yin and Chant Retreat with Lana

Kundalini Yoga & Mala Making Retreat with Lynn Clyde

1 spot in a shared room, and a personal tent option available for this retreat. Join Lynn Clyde (Manmeet Kaur) for a 3-day kundalini yoga and mala making retreat. This all-levels retreat includes 3 yoga classes, morning sadhana (yoga/meditation/mantra), gong or crystal bowl baths, a mala meditation, nutritious vegetarian meals and an infrared sauna session. Kundalini yoga incorporates asana (postures), pranayama (breath work), mudra (hand gestures) and mantra. These transformational ancient teachings, kept secret for thousands of years, build physical vitality and increase consciousness. The kriyas work on strengthening the nervous system, balancing the glandular system, purifying the body and calming the mind. Lynn has been practicing Kundalini yoga for over 10 years, and completed her 220 hour KRI Teacher Training with Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa in Rishikesh, India. As an optional add on ($40 + hst), you can have the opportunity to create your own one-of- a-kind traditional mala (prayer bead necklace) with 108 semi-precious gemstones, silk cord/tassel and Swarovski crystal guru bead during an afternoon hands on workshop guided by Lynn.

Shanti’s Labour Day Long Weekend & Conscious Cooking Retreat

Take the time to Simply Be.  Nurture and nourish body, mind and spirit with gentle hatha, slow flow and restorative yoga, silent sittings, morning walks, yoga nidra, and delicious, lovingly prepared vegetarian meals. Anchor in the Stillness that is your natural state. You may also choose to opt in for two inspiring Conscious Cooking Workshops and a delicious food demo (with samples!) with Registered Holistic Culinary Nutritionist Lacey Budge. During the workshops, she will shed light on how you can mindfully take your yoga practice off the mat, and into your kitchen. Lacey will also discuss sacred nutrition; intuitive eating; and the physical and spiritual importance of eating local, seasonal, organic, whole foods.
