Annual Recharge & Restore Fall Retreat with David Good

Autumn Yoga Retreat for Women – Body, Mind, Spirit…Aligned with Anne Stubbs

THIS RETREAT IS NOW FULL. In our busy lives, it is not uncommon to feel off balance or fragmented. How do you come back to your “centre”? How do you return to wholeness? Join Yoga and Meditation teacher, Anne Stubbs, for her fourth retreat at Shanti, where she will guide you in a “holistic re-alignment” of body, mind, heart, and spirit. Drawing from the wisdom of yoga, Ayurveda, mantra, meditative and contemplative practices, nature activities, and sharing of feminine energy, we will discover how to return to a more harmonious balanced state and learn ways to sustain it. Periods of silence will be woven throughout the weekend to enhance our self-study. Our 3-night/4-day weekend at Shanti Retreat includes morning meditations, daily yoga classes, evening programs, group and solitary activities, free time, all meals, and shared accommodations. Each guest is entitled to one complimentary use of the infra-red sauna. Nourishing Yoga Retreat with Lisa and Carolyn

Join Lisa and Carolyn for their 3rd yoga retreat at Shanti. During this two night magical Island getaway, you will be guided through 5 yoga classes focused on breath, grounding, detoxifying, digesting, restoration and meditation. All classes are suitable for all levels. The retreat also include 2 workshops: Registered Holistic Nutritonist Devon Cosgrove on the importance of foundation nutrition for balanced mood and vitality.; Therese Conway of Canyon Sound on the use of flower essences. Outside of class retreat and spend time on the lakeside hammocks, in the infrared sauna, walk the labyrinth, canoe, enjoying gourmet vegetarian meals prepared by the amazing Shanti staff. Yoga & Inner Practices Retreat with Debra Black

October 12 - October 14

Join Debra on a weekend designed to bring a sense of equanimity or balance to your life — exploring yin yoga, yang yoga, restorative yoga and walking and seated meditation. Participants will work with – loving kindness and compassion practices, breath work and visualizations during asana practice and meditation. In each class students will be able to rest, restore and find their ground – physically, mentally and spiritually. The yin/yang yoga classes will be designed to balance the Qi, or life force, in students that according to Traditional Chinese Medicine and Daoism flows within all of our bodies in a series of meridians. Both the asana practices and the meditation practices will give students an opportunity to work with their feelings and thoughts and cultivate moment-to-moment awareness as well as hone their ability to be mindful and balance their Qi. Debra will also introduce to students the Four Foundations of Mindfulness –Buddhist tools for meditation. After a weekend of meditation, yin/yang yoga and restorative yoga participants will head home feeling spacious, open, aware and ready to return to their every day life.
