Look out at the water or lift your face toward sunshine and you feel a deeply felt truth: the resonance of connection. Yoga’s sister science Ayurveda says that we are inseparable from nature and through observation and element-inspired practice can thrive in wellness.

Join Kathryn and her dear friend and amazing co-teacher, Vanessa Maxwell, for a retreat inspired by the elements and the natural environment of Shanti Retreat. It’s an all-levels yoga experience that combines classical yoga, movement and mobility exercises, gentle, yin and restorative yoga practices with quiet mornings and guided meditation. While our yoga practices are inspired by the elements, you can expect the same clear, inclusive approach to practice you’ve grown to know over the years.

Our local meals are lovingly prepared and the food is always a highlight at Shanti. You will leave feeling relaxed and refreshed.

Every yogi is welcomed into this retreat circle, regardless of your experience and mobility.

Shanti Retreat is an easy drive from Toronto or Ottawa, and is located on picturesque Wolfe Island – a short ferry ride outside Kingston, Ontario. Entering their 17th season, their facilities and staff offer an incredible experience for such value.

There will be plenty of downtime for hammock or dock reading, swimming, walking or running, kayaking or paddling.
