THAI YOGA MASSAGE
Thai Yoga Massage is an ancient and sacred system of healing with roots in Yoga, Ayurvedic Medicine, and Buddhist spiritual practice. The massage takes place fully clothed on a mat on the floor allowing the practitioner to use her palms, thumbs, elbows, and feet to apply pressure along the body’s energy lines and pressure points, and gently apply yoga stretches to the whole body.
Thai Yoga Massage is based on the yogic belief that vital energy (prana) flows through a series of channels in the human energy body. Obstructions to the free flow of this energy may manifest in the form of disease, discomfort or emotional problems. The aim of Thai yoga massage is to stimulate the flow of healing energy within the body, restoring equilibrium and harmony, promoting a return to good health. This enhanced energy flow relieves muscular tension, improves circulation, boosts the immune system, and balances the body energetically. Thai Yoga Massage also generates a deep state of relaxation and promotes centeredness and well-being for both the client and practitioner.
Experience this unique form of holistic therapy that is the physical application of a form of Buddhist meditation known as metta or loving kindness, and enjoy bringing body, mind, and spirit back into balance and harmony for health, happiness and wellness of being.

Rate: $95 plus HST for a 90 minute massage
HOLISTIC NUTRITIONAL COUNSELLING
Lacey strives to live her life by the message “Be the change you wish to see in the world.” She keeps a positive attitude and outlook on life, practices yoga and meditation and follows a whole foods plant based diet in order to support her love for the environment and her own overall health and well-being. Lacey began her career as a high school educator, yet the universe has led her to be educating about everything that inspires her – the connection between health, food, environment and personal empowerment.
Shanti Retreat would like to welcome Lacey Budge as a part of our wellness team. As a Registered Holistic Nutritionist (R.H.N) with the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition, Lacey will be offering consultations to our interested guests looking to improve their overall wellness. In addition, her knowledge, inspiration and creativity will all be put to use in the menu planning of the Shanti Kitchen. She brings new ideas and a desire to provide guests with the most nutritious, organic, local and seasonal meals.
Moreover, Lacey is a certified 200 hour Sivananda Trained yoga and meditation instructor as well as a guest speaker and workshop facilitator.

Initial Consultation (60-75 minutes) + 1 follow up ( 30-45 minutes- in person, over the phone, via Skype)
During the initial consultation, you will discuss goals, needs and concerns in order to determine any nutritional imbalances. The consultation includes an evaluation of health, medical and family health history, lifestyle, diet habits, exercise, stress level, emotions, environment and other related information necessary for a consultation. The ultimate goal is to improve your lifestyle and overall feeling of well-being. Lacey understands the interrelationship of the mind, body and spirit and will therefore work with you to develop an individualized wellness program which works for you (likes, dislikes, allergies, lifestyle)! Through the use of whole, nutrient-dense foods; menu plans, natural supplements and lifestyle modifications (exercise, stress management). With holistic nutrition, you can get to the root of the imbalance and learn how to make changes that last.
During the follow up (in person, over the phone, skype video conference call), you will discuss, in detail, your individual program as Lacey provides further guidance, supports the progress of your goals and answers any other questions you may have.

One infrared sauna session per guest is included in all weekend retreats. For mid-week getaways or B&B, guests can enjoy the sauna wellness option for $15 + HST.
